A Christmas Market event will take place at Loughan House in Co Cavan later today. Up to 30 traders with unique local produce, as well as Loughan’s own enterprises will be on display in the fully covered Christmas Market Marquee.
According to organisers, Neven Maguire has made his delicious Christmas hot chocolate recipe available, and those in attendance are advised to stop by the coffee shop for a complimentary hot chocolate.
With the forecast expected to bring crisp Christmas weather, locals are also advised to wrap up warm to ensure they can enjoy all things festive. All local communities and beyond are invited to come along and support traders and avail of the opportunity to get unique gifts between 3pm and 7pm today.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Tourism officer for Cavan County Council Joanne Hayes said festivities at Loughan House follows the success of the Christmas Markets which took place at the cottage market in Cavan Town earlier this month.
