A first of its kind Christmas Tree Festival will get underway at Killeevan Church of Ireland this week.
The event will run from Friday the 12th of December until Sunday the 14th of December.
Among the many festivities planned across the weekend, is a carol service which will take place at the Church on Sunday at 7:30pm.
All proceeds from the festival will go towards Killeevan Church and Crocus Cancer Support.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Linda Keating revealed that Heather Humphreys will officially open the festival which will include a variety of over 60 Christmas trees in the Church.
She says it will be a "great opportunity" to bring people together for a joyous event while raising money for such an important cause:
