Clones Garda Station which had been closed for three months to allow urgent electrical works be undertaken has re-opened its doors today.
The station closed its doors in late May to allow for essential maintenance works to be carried out. Local Gardai extended the county’s community policing model via a clinic service which they say was a great success.
That policy was one which saw its community policing van host a number of clinics throughout the locality. They have confirmed owing to its popularity they will continue with regular outdoor clinics in the area.
