CMETB a 'significant employer' in Cavan and Monaghan

The Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board employs almost 1,400 people and delivered education to over 18,000 learners last year.

The 2023 data was disclosed at the most recent CMETB board meeting last week. The education agency also provided secondary education to over 6,000 pupils across their 11 schools in Cavan and Monaghan.

In a statement, CMETB described the body as a "significant employer within the region" with approximately 1,398 staff employed in the two counties of the Northern Sound region.
