A Monaghan brewery has been included in a nationwide initiative to promote Irish craft beers.
A new online Irish Beer Map seeks to highlight independent craft breweries across the country and generate public interest by linking craft breweries to specific destinations.
Brehon Brewhouse in Inniskeen was founded by Seamus McMahon in 2014 and is one of the breweries included in the newly launched Irish Beer Map.
Seamus wanted to expand his existing dairy farm in a new way, and as there were no local breweries in the area, he took the opportunity to develop one of his own.
The Irish Beer Map is created by the Independent Craft Brewers of Ireland, with support by Bord Bia, and Seamus is confident he'll soon see results from this "radical approach to marketing":
