A Co Monaghan National School has been named a runner-up in a Road Safety Authority poster competition.
Corracrin National School in Emyvale came up just short in the Seat Belt Sheriff competition with its "Stay Safe and Buckle Up" poster.
It's the third year in a row that the school's First Class has been shortlisted for the competition, which received over a hundred entries this year.

At the virtual award ceremony, Seat Belt Sheriff said he was "proud of Corracrin for their mighty fine job".
Clooney National School in Co Clare was awarded the top prize.
