Monaghan company Combilift is holding an open day this Saturday to celebrate 25 years in business. People are encouraged to attend the event which will take place from 11am to 4pm at the local manufacturing plant.
Martin McVicar is the Managing Director of Combilift.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Mr McVicar believes that open days like this are "essential" for the future of Combilift and for the future of local employment.
He added that tomorrow's open day will be a perfect opportunity for people to visit the facility and to see what is on offer to them locally.
"We're very much opening the doors for anyone, employees families, friends or anyone who has an interest in engineering, our doors are open so that people can get a look through our manufacturing plant and see first-hand not just what we make but the career opportunities that are there for local people living in the area as well," said Mr McVicar.
