Part 8 planning is being sought by Cavan County Council for works on Market Square and Preaching House Lane in Ballyconnell.
The proposal is for the demolition of the existing derelict house and associated sheds along with development of a new community space and gardens. The plans submitted also include the widening of Preaching House Lane.
Any person may, within 4 weeks from the date of the notice can apply to An Bord Pleanála for a screening determination as to whether the proposed development would be likely to have significant effects on the environment. The plans of the proposed development will be available for inspection or purchase during office hours at the Planning Office in Cavan Town and the Cavan-Belturbet Municipal District Office, in Ballyconnell.
