The chair of a local Older People's Council says some elderly people are "anxious" about the re-opening of society.
Bob Gilbert is the Chair of the Cavan Older People Society and has warned that it may be difficult for some elderly people to be in crowded areas after "becoming accustomed to a certain way of life" over the past year.
It comes as the government prepares to east restrictions from next month, with Micheál Martin telling his party that barbers and hairdressers will be given priority for re-opening next month.
