Presidential candidate Catherine Connolly will launch her latest Presidential Initiative, Future Voices - Guthanna an Todhchaí, at 11.05am this morning at The Diamond, Monaghan.
She will be joined by Sinn Féin Vice President and First Minister Michelle O'Neill and local TD Matt Carthy for the launch.
If elected President, Catherine Connolly says she will establish Future Voices as a landmark civic initiative designed to listen to young people from all communities, North and South, about the kind of future they wish to create and the kind of Ireland they want to live in - confident, inclusive, and at peace with itself and the wider world.
Speaking ahead of the launch, Catherine Connolly said: "Our young people are not just the future - they are the present. Their creativity, courage, and compassion can help shape an Ireland that is more inclusive, more sustainable, and more at peace with itself and the world.
"Future Voices will ensure that those voices are heard and respected - North and South, urban and rural, at home and abroad."
