The Castle Leslie Estate Easter cookery demonstration is back once again this year in support of the Down Syndrome Centre North East. The fun-filled evening of culinary delights will take place on Monday, April 14th at 6:30pm in the castle. Staff at Castle Leslie are hoping that they will be able to build on last year's success after the cookery demonstration raised over 10,000 euro for the Down Syndrome Centre North East.
Executive Head Chef at the Castle Leslie, Aaron Duffy, will showcase his skills and share his secrets to creating delicious Easter dishes. Speaking to Northern Sound, Aaron described the upcoming cookery demonstration as a "fantastic event" which is in aid of a special cause that is close to his heart. Following on from last year's sell out event, Aaron says people come to not only enhance their cooking skills, but to improve the lives of individuals with Down Syndrome and their families. He said its "great to see" the positive impact within families and communities who benefit directly from all the funds raised on the night:
