Monaghan County Council says it doesn't have an end date for a review into Seamus Coyle's expenses claims.
Earlier this year, the Fianna Fail Councillor featured on an RTE Investigates report on discrepancies in expenses paid to local councillors by public bodies.
Following the broadcast, Monaghan County Council confirmed it was carrying out a review into the allegations.

It was expected to be completed by early September, however the local authority now says it doesn't have an end date for the review.
A similar review by Cavan County Council into expenses claims made by Councillor Clifford Kelly was completed in August.
