A church in Co Cavan is celebrating a special milestone this weekend.
This Sunday marks the bicentenary of St. Brigid's Church in Drumhurt, Kill.
The current church was built in 1826 and has been a central part of parish life, hosting baptisms, weddings, funerals, and daily prayer for generations.
This Sunday promises to be a big community event, marking the importance of the church to the local people.
Locals in the community have been preparing to mark the celebration this weekend, with local children, choir members, and community groups all taking part in the celebrations.
The Bicentenary Mass takes place on Sunday 1st February at 2pm in St Brigid's Church, Kill and for those that cannot attend they may go online to church tv kill where it will be streamed online.
