Stormont ministers are set to introduce tightened Covid-19 restrictions in greater Belfast and Ballymena - to clamp down on increasing cases of the virus.

Postcodes will be used to decide where the restrictions will apply. The regulations will come into force from next week - but people are urged to take action now.

First Minister Arlene Foster says for people living in those areas - movement will be limited:

Meanwhile, Northern Irish travellers in Portugal must now try and get home before 4am tomorrow morning or face two weeks in quarantine.

A similar rule change for people in England will also come into effect, while similar restrictions were imposed for Wales and Scotland last week.

Prices for flights returning to the UK have increased to over 430 euro.
