Created in Cavan is a collaborative food, drink and hospitality community, which brings together local businesses to work together to raise the visibility of their superb offering across the county, Ireland and internationally.
Speaking at yesterday's launch which took place at the Oak Room Restaurant, Food strategy co-ordinator for Cavan County Council, Patricia Smith, said it was "great" to finally get the initiative up and running again after it was first launched just before the outbreak of Covid in Febraury 2020.
Despite the set-back of lockdown, Created in Cavan is back and better than ever before with a calendar of tasteful events scheduled from June until September.
From street markets to wine nights and everything in between, Patricia believes the summer-long festival will showcase the best of what Cavan's food and drink industry has to offer.
