The Crocus Christmas Jumper Weekend begins in Monaghan Town today.
Santa is set to arrive to his grotto in the centre of the town before 11am this morning.
The Garda Mounted support unit from Dublin will be assisting Santa and Mrs Claus to the grotto located at the Diamond in Monaghan Town.

The festive event will be ran over two days this weekend and organisers of the event are expecting big crowds to the two day event.
There is also a Christmas food market happening in the town on Sunday with all proceeds of all the weekend going to Crocus.
