A decision is due next month on a proposed housing development at the Erne
Palais Ballroom.
Erne Palais Limited is seeking to partially demolish the Belturbet building and construct two apartments, three two-storey houses and two bungalows.
The front façade of the protected structure is to be retained as part of the application.

The building had been the centre of the "Save the Palais" campaign in 2018, when Cavan County Council intended to put social housing on the site.
It was extensively damaged by a suspected arson attack in September of that
year.
