Members of the public are asked to help map the locations of the defibrillators.

A defibrillator locator initiative between Monaghan Joint Policing Committee and the National Ambulance Service has been described as "ground-breaking".

The initiative will ensure that every publicly accessible defibrillator in the county is registered with the National Ambulance Service.

Members of the public are being asked to provide an Eircode for the location of AEDs, so they can be added to the mapping system.
