The Digital Green Cert is the "first step that is desperately needed" to help the travel industry.
That's according to Mark Clifford, who is the Managing Director O'Hanrahan Travel in Monaghan.
The Digital Green Cert, formally known as the EU Covid Certificate, acts as proof that the holder has been vaccinated against COVID-19, recently received a negative test result, or has recovered from COVID-19.

It will be implemented on the 1st of July, before being rolled out in Ireland on the 19th of July, paving the way for travel within the EU.
