The new Castleblayney Library, situated at the Gate House 2 in the Co Monaghan town has opened to the public.
The library located at the entrance to Lough Muckno has opened its doors to the community in recent days.
Local councillor Aidan Campbell says the location for the facility will enhance the town and attract more people to the area.

Gate Lodge 2 will become home to the town library, a new gallery and public space.

The building has been fully restored and extended with over 3 million euro being invested from Minister Heather Humphreys department
Cllr Campbell says it a welcome addition to the town and will be a great benefit to the wider Castleblayney community.
