A driver was arrested in Co Cavan following a positive roadside drug test.
The incident according during the early hours of yesterday morning after members of the Cavan Roads Policing Unit conducted a high visibility Mandatory Intoxicant Testing checkpoint.
The checkpoint was located on the N3 near Virginia.

According to local Gardaí, another driver had the car detained for driving without insurance.
Two further drivers were also arrested on Monday for driving while under the influence.
