A driver is facing a court appearance after testing positive for cocaine in Cavan town.
On Friday, the local Divisional Drugs Unit were on patrol in the town and carrying out roadside intoxicant tests.
One driver was stopped, failed an oral fluid test and tested positive for cocaine.

The learner driver was arrested and brought to Cavan Garda Station for a blood sample.
They are now awaiting a Court appearance, with Gardai using the incident to remind drivers to never drive while under the influence of drink or drugs.
