A recent €1 million Lotto win in Cavan has not yet been collected by the owners of the winning ticket.
That's according to National Lottery spokesperson Darragh O'Dwyer.
In Cavan there was a number of big wins in 2025, a €17 million EuroMillions jackpot win in December and a top prize Daily Million win in November.
The most recent win was €1 million won in the Millionaire Raffle draw in Cullies Maxol Garage on the Ballyhaise road.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Samantha McNamara a shop assistant in the store explained the excitement when they got the news.
However, Lotto spokesperson Darragh O'Dwyer told Northern Sound that while the winners have made contact they have not yet collected the prize.
He said it's not uncommon for people to hide their winning tickets.
