Funding has been announced for vacant buildings to be bought and turned into community spaces.
Minister Heather Humphreys is rolling out the scheme under the Town and Village Renewal Scheme.
Local Authorities can receive up to €400,000 to purchase derelict sites, and repurpose them as community centres or remote working hubs.
