Eir customers in ten local towns can now avail of 5G network coverage

Eir customers in ten towns across Cavan and Monaghan can now avail of 5G network coverage.

5G can offer speeds up to ten times faster than 4G, which allows for the streaming of high-definition content without buffering.

Eir has also enabled 5G Roaming in 22 countries across Europe, Asia, Canada and the Middle East, with the USA and the United Kingdom to be added next year.

In the Northern Sound region, 5G is now available in five towns across Cavan and five in Monaghan.

Bailieborough, Ballyconnell, Cavan Town, Cootehill, Killeshandra.

Annalitten, Ballybay, Carrickmacross, Monaghan Town, Newbliss.
