A free electrical recycling drop-off day is taking place in Co Cavan.
The event, run by the European Recycling Platform, is running from 10am to 4pm at the Lidl Car Park, on the Ballinagh Road in Cavan Town.
Attendees can drop off any household item with a plug or a battery, such as TVs, washing machines, IT equipment, stereos, mobile phones and chargers.

The Drop-Off day will be operated in accordance with public health guidelines, and attendees are asked to observe social distancing guidelines and to wear face coverings at all times.
