Two employment and training expos are planned for Cavan and Monaghan this month.
CMETB in conjunction with the local enterprise office, Department of Social Protection and Regional Skills North East will host the Employment and Training Expo in Cavan in the Hotel Kilmore on Tuesday, 21st May and in Monaghan at the Monaghan Institute on Thursday, 30th May.
Both events are open to local businesses who want to recruit staff and any member of the public who wants to find out more about job vacancies in this region.
Noel Mooney from Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board told Northern Sound the expos are a unique way for both to interface in-person when employers can showcase what they do and potential employees can meet the people behind the local businesses and have any questions they have answered. There will also be representatives from local colleges and training facilities on hand to provide information on training courses and apprenticeships. Employers and members of the public must register their interest to attend.
