A community consultation event will take place today to share the updated designs of the N2 Clontibret to the border scheme.
The drop in information clinic will take place at the Emyvale recreation Centre today between 3pm and 8pm.
Cllr Niamh McCooey said these meetings are off the back of community and landowner engagements where concerns of the community were listened to.
Cllr McCooey believes residents will be "happy" with the changes made.
She has encouraged residents to attend today's information clinic to view the updated designs.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Cllr McCooey highlighted the importance of community engagement and "having your say."
She said: "In the last set of engagement, there was over 350 residents throughout those areas who engaged with the team.
"It's vitally important to do that again. Have your say, have a look at the plans, and see how the road is going to progress from that point to completion," Cllr. McCooey added.
