Emyvale Cycling Club in Co Monaghan are holding a road race this morning that runs from 10am until 1.30pm.
The route that runs along some main roads in the county is Emyvale to Monaghan to Glaslough and back to Emyvale.
The race will consist of 5 laps of this route.

The Co Monaghan cycling club is urging motorists and pedestrians to exercise caution while the race is in progress and to cooperate with marshals and Gardai.
Motorists are being advised to slow down and that traffic may be stopped at certain junctions along the route.
