A limited amount of tickets for the Boomtown Rats concert in Cavan will go on sale this afternoon at 12 noon. Cavan Calling made the announcement earlier this year that the 'I Don't Like Monday's' rock band were holding a concert at the Egg Market in Cavan town this month.
Tickets are free, but a one euro booking fee applies per ticket. A maximum of four tickets can be purchased per person. A founding member of the band, Pete Briqette, is a native of Ballyjamesduff.
The outdoor concert will act as the centrepiece around 'Cavan Day' which takes place on Saturday the 29th of July.
