A commemoration event is taking place today of An Gorta Mór at the Clones Famine Graveyard.
The event is being held at midday to remember and acknowledge times past and the people's struggles at time across the region.
A free shuttle bus will be in operation this morning which will be running up to the Bully Acre from 11:30am from outside the Credit Union on The Diamond that will return following the event.
