The Cavan Roads Policing Unit focused their attention on the N3 over the last number of days.
According to local Gardaí, some drivers still have not got the message to "slow down." As a result of the operation, a number of fixed payment notices were issued for speeding on the N3 along with three penalty points and a fine of €160.
Gardaí are still appealing to drivers to slow down, in a bid to reduce road fatalities across local roads.
