The Monaghan Roads Policing Unit recently conducted multi-agency checkpoints accompanied by Customs.
As a result, Monaghan Gardaí confirmed that during the operation, a number of detections were made.
This included excessively worn tyres, no insurance and a learner driver unaccompanied.

Fixed Payment Notices were also issued in respect of these offences.
