A number of fire crews from Monaghan Fire Station attended a forest fire at Bragan, Co Monaghan.
Firefighters tackled the blaze in the Sliabh Beag area of Bragan and brought it under control rapidly.
It comes as the public were being urged to be vigilant over the coming days as the current good weather is set to bring an elevated risk of gorse, forestry and other outdoor fires.

A gorse fire broke out in the Cuilcagh Mountain area last night along with a number of locations across West Cavan.
