Four men have been arrested and charged in connection to the theft of ATMs in Cavan, Monaghan and Meath.
They are to appear before a special sitting of the Special Criminal Court this afternoon.
The four men, aged 26, 29, 34 and 38; were arrested in the early hours of this morning and charged in relation to separate incidents of theft.
These are the attempted theft of an ATM in Castleblayney in April last year, the attempted theft of an ATM in Virginia last August, and the seizure of cash at an addess in Moynalty County Meath.
The arrests were made by Gardaí attached to the Special Dectective Unit and Detective Brances in Carrickmacross, Bailieborough, Monaghan and Kells.
The four men were detained in Carrickmacross Garda Station and charged.
They are due before a special sitting of the Special Criminal Court at 2.30 this afternoon.
