Four local lads from Castleblayney travelled out to Tokyo over the weekend to take part in the city marathon that has been running for the past 16 years in Japan.
Cllr Aidan Campbell, Derek Callaghan, Brendan Murphy and Frankie Gorman all travelled to the capital of Japan for Sunday's marathon that saw 35,000 people compete in.
The four members of Blaney Rockets have competed in various marathons across the world in recent years. 3,000 of the strong 35,000 race received major medal following competing in other cities across the world. Aidan Campbell says the 26.2 miles race was wonderful and found the trip to Tokyo has a great experience.
