A new checklist to streamline the approval of funding for 10 graveyards in Co Monaghan has been drawn up. The draft checklist is currently with the Heritage Officer for approval. The checklist will be used by the EAO in determining allocations from the Graveyard Grant 2024. To raise awareness, "Care and Conservation of Graveyards" booklet has been circulated to each of the 10 grant recipients to highlight their obligations regarding graveyard conservation.
