A women and girl's rights advocate and campaigner who is based in Carrickmacross is running a coffee morning in commemoration of International Women's Day. Dr Adepeju Oti who came to Ireland as a refugee is a professor in sociology who focuses on gender equality and education.
All proceeds from the event will go towards Women's Aid Ireland to advocate and raise funds to support women and children in their care. The event takes place in Magheracloone Community Centre from 9:30am-11:30am tomorrow. To donate visit; https://fundraising.womensaid.ie/fundraisers/adepejuoti
