A fundraiser has been launched for a Monaghan pickpocket victim.

Local musician, David Lambe, was walking through Dublin, close to the ha'penny bridge when he was robbed of a large sum of money. David was on his way to buy a rare rudall rose left handed flute, which are worth in excess of €3,000. Following the incident, David has launched a gofundme page to attempt to recoup the lost funds. He says that he relies on these instruments to make a living and is now suffering a massive loss as a result of the robbery.

You can hear more about David's incident and fundraising campaign on The Wind That Blows with Martin Donoghue this Saturday between 8 and 10pm.
