The funeral arrangements have been announced for the woman in her 8os that was struck by a car in Bailieborough last week.
Lucy Clarke from the Virginia Road in Bailieborough died in hospital on Saturday following the collision that occurred last Tuesday on the R165.
Gardai have renewed their appeal for information and are asking if anyone was in the area last Tuesday evening between 6.45pm and 7.15pm and that may have dash cam footage to make it available to them.
Lucy is reposing at Clarke's funeral home Wednesday evening from 5.30pm to 8.30pm. Her Funeral is to arrive to St Anne's church Bailieborough on Thursday for funeral mass at 11.30am with burial afterwards in St Anne's cemetery.
In a social media post, Bailieborough Library said they were heartbroken at the sad passing of their ex colleague and friend Lucy Clarke, they added that she remained in close contact after her retirement, joining them on many a social occasion.
