The funeral mass will take place this morning of a 58-year-old who passed away following a tragic work accident in Co Cavan. Vincent Mooney from Carnaross in Co Meath lost his life on Thursday at the premises of Coolrite in Bailieborough, where he was an employee.
The late Mr Mooney was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to Cavan Mortuary. His funeral mass will take place this morning in St Colmcille's Church, Kells with burial afterwards in St Colmcille's Cemetery.
Gardai and officers from the HSA are continuing their investigations into the fatal incident.
