The funeral for a mother and son who lost their lives during a tragic house fire in Co Cavan last weekend will take place later this morning.
Kathleen and Michael Lynch died in a blaze at their rural home in Lackenmore, Ballyjamesduff at around 2am on Sunday morning last.
The fatal blaze broke out at their family home located in Lackenmore - a rural area between Ballyjamesduff and New Inns.

The joint funeral mass of the late Kathleen Lynch and her son Michael will take place at 12 noon in St Joseph's Church, Ballyjamesduff.
Burial will take afterwards in St Joseph's cemetery Oldcastle Road.
