Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after two burglaries in Cavan town at the weekend.
Between Sunday night and Monday morning, a house in the Carrickfern area was broken into.
A theft of a car in the same area also took place at that time of night.

Anyone who witnesses suspicious activity or has information on either incident is being asked to contact Cavan Garda Station.
It comes after a number of reports of cars in Cavan town being tampered with recently.
Gardaí in Cavan are using the incidents to remind people to ensure their property is secured and valuables aren't left on display.
