Gardaí are appealing for information following two separate burglaries in the Cavan area.
Anyone with information or who noticed suspicious is asked to make contact with Cavan Garda Station.
Gardaí in Co Cavan are investigating a burglary which occurred on Glenside Road on the 6th March between the hours of 6:30pm and 8:30pm.
Entry was gained by smashing a rear glass door.
The home was ransacked and a large quantity of cash was stolen.
Gardaí would like to hear form anyone who may recall suspicious people around the Glenside Road area.
Elsewhere, Gardaí are appealing for information in relation to a burglary in the Derrycramph area in Cavan.
The incident occurred on a date between the 6th and 13th of March.
A number of males were observed entering the property and were possibly disturbed and made their escape empty handed.
Gardaí in Cavan are anxious to hear from anyone who can assist with the investigations.
