Monaghan gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted in the Killygowan area.
The woman also had property stolen from her in the assault that occurred shortly after 10 pm on Saturday, September 4th.
The woman was walking on the Ard Glas / Fairview Drive Road at the time, and was treated at Cavan General Hospital for her injuries.

Gardaí are asking anyone who was in the area, who witnessed the attack, and who may be able to assist them with their inquiries to make contact with them.
Gardaí are also appealing for anyone who may have video footage, including dashcam footage, to contact the Monaghan Garda Station or the Garda Confidential Line.
