Gardaí in Monaghan are appealing to the public for information in relation to an assault on a female that occurred on Saturday, October 8th.
The incident occurred between the hours of 10pm and 11pm.
According to Gardaí, a woman in her late 40s was assaulted in a licensed premises on Main Street, Castleblayney.

She received facial injuries during the course of this assault that later required medical treatment.
No arrests have been made at this stage of the ongoing investigation.
