Gardaí in Castleblayney recover defibrillator that was taken from Monaghan Town Library

Gardaí in Castleblayney have recovered a defibrillator that was taken from Monaghan Town Library.

The defibrillator was taken from the building at around 1.20pm last Thursday, and it wasn't known if the device was stolen or taken for a genuine reason.

Local gardaí have thanked the community who assisted in the appeal for the defibrillator's return, and add that the circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation.
