Gardai in the Cavan Monaghan division are advising motorists to never driver while under the influence of drink or dugs.
It follows an incident on Friday in which a driver was observed driving while using his mobile phone.
Upon further investigation, Gardai discovered the driver had taken cocaine after he failed a roadside drugs test.
The driver was subsequently arrested and blood samples taken.
Later that night another driver was arrested for drink driving in Ballinagh.
And, on Sunday, while carrying out a Mandatory Intoxicant Testing checkpoint in the Ballyjamesduff a motorist was arrested after failing a roadside test.
Gardai say that when motorists take risks on the road, they are not only risking their own lives but the lives of other road users.
"A poor decision could have devastating consequences so please never drive while under the influence of drink or drugs," a spokesperson added.
