Gardaí have launched an investigation following a break-in to a house on the outskirts of Bailieboro.
Gardai carried out a technical examination of the scene following the burglary last Thursday in the Lisnalskey area of Bailieboro.
Gardai confirmed that a number of items of jewellery had been reported missing by its owners.
They said that Gardaí responded to a report of a burglary at a residential premises at Lisnalskey, Bailieboro, which occurred sometime between 9:00am and 5:40pm on 16th of July.
The Garda spokesperson said a number of items of jewellery were taken and investigations are ongoing.
