Gardaí investing theft from a parked car in Kingscourt

Gardaí in Co Cavan are investing a theft from a parked car that occurred yesterday morning.

The incident happened between 9.15 and 9.45 am, outside Cabra Central National School on the Shercock Road in Kingscourt.

Anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious in the area is asked to make contact with Bailieborough Garda Station.

Gardaí are using the incident to remind people, particularly in the run-up to Christmas, not to leave valuables in a visible location in cars or vans and to lock and secure your vehicle, regardless of how long you intend to be away from it.
